Description

An easy day hike with lush vegetation against the canyon walls that will make your jaw drop!

The hike into Hunters Canyon is extremely easy going. You can do the hike year round, but the further into summer you are, the hotter the canyon will be.

This is a great beginner hike as it has very little elevation gain. It's also perfect for dogs, thanks to the stream that allows for frequent pit stops for water and playing.

The trail itself is 3 miles, but you can continue into the canyon past the trail if you're wanting to do more exploring!

There's also 12 BLM campsites near the canyon that offer beautiful views and close access to canyon hiking. https://theoutbound.com/utah/c...

Moab is incredible, and this hike is one of Moab’s best outside of Arches. The views are beautiful and lots of things to explore in the canyon.
