Explore the Glasgow Botanic Gardens

Glasgow City, United Kingdom

Description

Added by Natalie F

A great place to enjoy year-round plants and take a walk!

This was not quite as large as the Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens, but it’s still fun and worth a stop.  Plus, it’s another free activity.

-Founded in 1817

-Indoor (“glasshouses”) and outdoor exhibits

-Koi pond

-Plenty of seating options

-Peaceful atmosphere with lots of areas to walk and explore

-There’s even a Tea Room open from April to September: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and in the winter from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

If you have never been to Glascow before, be sure to check out Hanoi Bike Shoprestaurant.  It is insanely delicious and only 0.4 miles away!
