Adventures. Bicycles. Climbing... the ABC's of my life. I love to travel and photograph things that intrigue me. I'm also a teacher and barista, so I enjoy sharing my passion with others... especially over a great cup of coffee.

I was fortunate enough to visit Oak Creek Canyon in the winter of 2016, and I can't speak highly enough about this incredible area. The routes were so much fun to climb and you were rewarded with incredible views of the area once you reached the top. One of my favorite spots, The Pond, had three longer single pitch sport climbs right next to a waterfall. If you have an opportunity to climb here, I highly recommend it! Also, I suggest checking out the work Access Fund is doing to help protect the Oak Flat campground as there are currently efforts being made by mining companies to purchase this sacred Apache land. Miguel's Pizza is a rock climber's paradise while visiting the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. After a long day of climbing, there is nothing better than spending the evening here. Not only do they have fantastic pizza with many options for toppings to suit everyone's needs/ wants, they also offer wi-fi, clean bathrooms, a gear shop, and a chance to chat with fellow climber's at one of the many picnic tables. They also allow pets, so if you are planning on bringing your furry best friend out for a weekend at the crag, you are more than welcome to stay here. As someone who visits the Gorge often for climbing, I'm glad that my friends and I can always count on finding a great meal, welcoming environment, and quiet place to camp at Miguel's.
