Description
Added by Shawn Grenninger
The Giant Cedars Boardwalk is a great spot to stop along the Trans Canada Highway #1 and enjoy a short boardwalk trail through giant Cedars, some over 500 years old.
The trail has some steps, but several benches along the way making it great for anyone. It's like a stroll through a forest in another world.
The area does require a National Parks Pass. Check Parks Canada for closure. It does close seasonally and was recently (2022) partially closed due to boardwalk damage.
Fees
There is a fee to enter Mount Revelstoke National Park. Learn more here.
Seasonal Closures
The boardwalk typically closes in early October through the long weekend in May. You can get more updates on the schedule by visiting the Parks Canada website.
Temporary Closure
The Giant Cedars boardwalk is temporarily closed for boardwalk repairs until the end of 2022.

Very beautiful but half of it is still closed for repairs to the boardwalk.
