Amazing Falls Just Minutes From Revy

This short trail leads down to a fantastic viewpoint overlooking the falls. Additionally the trail leads to a beach at the mouth of Begbie Creek. Just above the beach there is a tent pad, picnic table and fire pit for camping.

Follow highway 23 south of Revelstoke and turn right on Mt Begbie Rd. Follow this all the way down until it turns to gravel and continue along Begbie Falls Trunk Road. You can park half-way down the road (recommended if you have a bigger vehicle as the road turns very narrow) or you can continue down the road to the Begbie Falls trailhead. The Trunk road intersects with many amazing bike paths so watch out for mountain bikers.

Once at the trailhead you can take a path right of the information sign that leads to the top of the falls. When we were there someone had pitched a tent at the top and looked like a really cool spot although loud and cramped.

To the left of the information sign is the path that leads you down to the falls viewpoint. The trail is fairly steep but switched backed so it is doable. Once at the bottom you will see a sign that says "falls" from here it is a quick few steps to the view point of these amazing falls.

If you are camping there are a few options. You can follow the path left of the "falls" sign until you reach a picnic table and tent pad. Or just below that is the beach where you can also set up camp.

We chose the beach and did not regret it :)
