Who wrote this, Merritt? This is a truly poor writeup of the hike to The Chimneys, the surrounding area, and the camping opportunities. Another bad post by The Outbound from their user base, there should be better screening for such posts. It's almost laughable to call The Chimneys "rarely crowded" considering its immediate proximity to the Table Rock Picnic Area. People hike here all the time, there are always climbers and campers year-round.
