Beautiful scenery along the trail where you can snow shoe, cross-country ski, hike, and mountain bike. The hike is relatively short making it very family friendly and enjoyable.

Trailhead: The trail is just outside of Driggs, Idaho in Alta, Wyoming on the way up to Grand Targhee Ski Resort. The hike is fairly easy, so you can enjoy the scenic views of the forest and creek, especially during the winter when the trees have a thick layer of snow on them. You also cross Teton Creek, which is beautiful at all times of the year. The trail is 2 miles long and dead ends near the boy scout camp, so turn around and head back down the trail to the trailhead.

Afterwards: After the short hike, you can go back to Driggs and enjoy a movie at the spud drive-in, fly in a hot-air balloon around the Tetons, or enjoy a huckleberry shake. You can also stay in Alta and take a drive up to the Grand Targhee Ski Resort and enjoy the scenic views of the Grand Teton along the way.

Explore Teton Creek along Sheep Bridge Trail Reviews

It was really mild walking for such a rewarding view! Winter wonderland is an understatement. Prepared adventures may make used the beautiful cross country ski trail adjacent from the trail entrance.

We've biked this trail in the fall, and walked on the snow in the spring Great little jaunt up in the woods. I only wish the trail were longer!
