-2 days and 3 nights-Family friendly-You have the ability to make it an easy or challenging hike-Unique sandstone rock formations-No set trail but easy to follow-Numerous campsites-Hikes around the area

This amazing and unique state park is located in the San Rafael Desert, just north of the Henry Mountains. From Colorado, take I-70 to UT-24 W in Emery County. Take exit 149 and continue on UT-24 until you hit Goblin Valley State Park.Although there is one large designated site for camping, there is one campsite in a beautiful, isolated area just before you hit the state park. About 10 minutes before you reach the park, there is a dirt road that veers off to the right. It is hard to spot, but there is a small marker (a plastic plate) just before the turn. This campsite is meant for one, maybe two groups of campers but no more. Before you start exploring this strange and unique park, it is important to take a look at your surroundings. From the parking lot, you will be able to see a large white plateau among the goblins. This is where you will be going for the most amazing views.Once you start trekking through the sandstone structure, don't be afraid to climb on top of the goblins. Everything is made of clay so even if you fall it is very hard to hurt yourself. Keep making your way in the general direction of the gray plateau. You will eventually get to the bottom of it. The climb to the top can be a bit challenging, but, once again it is hard to hurt yourself. The view at the top is absolutely beautiful. 360 views of Goblin Valley and the vast land directly passed it.After you have explored enough of Goblin Valley, another fun option is hiking Little Wild Horse Canyon, which is one of the most popular hikes in Utah. It is located just outside of the state park. This is a good activity to do on your second day.
