We went mid-March in the hopes of using our snowshoes before the season ended. It was a little warm and the snow had compacted enough for it to be a nice hike without the snowshoes. The most notable element of our hike wasn't the waterfall. Unfortunately, it was the tremendous amount of dog crap along the trail. I must have missed the sign that said "If your dog has to crap every 25' and is prone to bouts of diarrhea then bring them here and don't worry about picking up after them!" Don't get me wrong, I love the little furry guys, but it would sure be nice if their owners were a little more considerate of others and picked up after them. If you like waterfalls, the sweet smell of a fresh steaming pile of dog crap and the challenge of a poop riddled obstacle course then this is the trail for you!! Enjoy!
