Franklin Mountains Ridgeline Hike is a 10.3 mile out and back hike located near El Paso, TX.

Note that this trail is only recommended for very experienced or expert hikers. There are some short sections that require rock climbing and there are steep cliffs. Significant upper body strength is needed. If you decide to do the full trail, bring lots of water and food for hydration and energy. Though difficult and not for non-experienced adventurers, those who do complete the trail are rewarded with stunning views of El Paso and opportunities to view beautiful wildlife and wildflowers along the way.

The hike begins at the trans-Franklin Mountains South Trail and ends at the Ron Coleman Trail. View a map to get familiar with these portions of the trail.

Be safe. This trail is a fun challenge, but not for everyone. Even the most expert hikers should be cautious while enjoying this hike.
