Started from the busy south beach with a United Nations of BBQ's, inflatable rafts and happy, dancing families. A few steps into the trail the woods are totally still. A 3-hour round trip, with a break at the other end of the lake for dinner and a swim at the much quieter little beach with a tiny suspension bridge and a dock. Beautiful spot. Our GPS recorded over 13km (8.3 miles) & 2 elevation gains of over 300m. So it wasn't hard but could challenge some.
