I used the other review on here to make sure I was heading in the right direction. The body of water I crossed was waist deep (end of June). The hike itself was great, no issues with the trail blazes. Camping worked out well and they put me right next to the river so easy access the next morning. The first four miles of the river were very shallow and hard to navigate with the curvy turns, rapids, and fallen down trees. Those first few miles I would be prepared for, but once you hit about mile 5 it clears up a bit. I did it solo with my dog. Took us 7 hours to hike and 5 hours to float.
