Beautiful and Rewarding! Highest point of Texas. Very windy this morning and a sunny day, too hot already (May 25, 2024). Need to start so early to avoid the heat, but as always a very rewarding hike with beautiful views all the way up to the summit. Total of 8.3 miles in 3 hours 6 minutes (my record time so far).
