if you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there.

Hi Sara! I don't know how to directly message you on TheOutbound, but I can't recall the exact site number unfortunately. It was one of the sites on the left side along the lake though. You had to walk off the road and through a path with multiple sites in the trees to get to this one. Sorry I can't be more specific. Hope this helps a bit

Played beach volleyball one day, biked the park the next and went to brunch on my last day. Loved each part and had a great time! We did B-cycle and the only annoying thing was trying to make sure we could dock the bike again before the time ran out, but that wasn't a big deal. And the food was great at the casual restaurant! Looks really fancy from the outside but don't let that intimidate you.

We did this hike when it was getting closer to sunset and there was not a single other group on the mountain. When we got to the top it was so windy but absolutely gorgeous! It is a must do when you go to Acadia!

I did this with a couple of my friends when we went up to Lake Placid and I really did enjoy myself. The nature walk was exactly as described, a walk, but it was fun. The waterfalls were beautiful and I loved that we were walking along the cliff side. Definitely glad we did this!

I just camped here this past weekend and I loved it! We fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean which was so soothing. There are new facilities too with clean bathrooms and individual shower rooms.

It was pouring the day that we went but I think that helped add to the cave experience. It also made it so that there were a lot less people joining us so it didn't seem as touristy as I would imagine it being during peak times. Just watch out for the piles of bat poop and the couple cockroaches that may walk over your feet! Other than that, it was beautiful!

It was definitely a beautiful spot, but as Ben said, there were so many other people also taking photos and some (what appeared to be) engagement photo shoots. But I'd say it was worth it to see the tower and tide pools!

This island was so beautiful! We walked across the island in a few hours, it's that small, and slept on the beach. The sunrise was the perfect thing to wake up to. When we arrived on the island though, there were not many places for food or drink open. One place actually had a sign that said "We're open when we're open and closed if we're not". Talk about island time! If you're visiting PR, it's definitely worth planning a day or two to visit Culebra.

I know the Observatory is inside, but it is definitely also an amazing view of the city skyline for those visiting! While you're there, walk around the trade center memorial and soak it all in. It is quite an unbelievable, architectural beauty.

I would also recommend going under the bridge. There are a couple dirt slopes down, that could be a little sketchy, but definitely worth it! The view from below was amazing with the plants and wildflowers. Be a little careful though since there were some questionable holes that cranky critters could pop out from.

I was only able to find the one swing, but I did find a ladder to climb up a tree and two huts made out of branches that were very interesting. There seemed to be a lot of construction going on around the area, so maybe that's why the swings were cut down :(

When I hiked to the Potato Chip ROCK, as I accidentally kept calling Potato Chip Mountain, I was confused as you had to pass through what seemed like an electricity plant. There were not many people when I went either so there was no one to ask. I finally asked one of the plant workers and he said I was going the right direction. You actually do have to walk through the plant! So if you see electricity towers and think you're going the wrong way... you're not! Keep going!

I loved this hike! It was scenic enough that I forgot how close the road was to us... then when stopped at one of the overlooks and saw the highway, I remembered I was in New Jersey. Definitely recommend this to people looking for something not too difficult, but still a workout.

The Great Swamp is not too far from my house so I have been there multiple times, no matter the season! In the lush seasons it is full of wildlife (though I have never come across a snake as Jennifer has mention) and the colors are amazing. In the winter, things are little more barren but the snow is so quiet and the frozen streams are beautiful. This place is also great for kids because they have the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center where they can go inside and learn about the animals and plants that are common to the area.
