I'm Dan Patel. I grew up in New Jersey but began the majority of my time in the outdoors after I moved to California for college. Pursuing landscape and adventure photography drives me out just as much as pushing my limits and feeling the peace of the outdoors.
I got this track recommended to me by the Arthur's Pass Department of Conservation office. It was gorgeous the entire way. You can continue up through the forest and onto the ridgeline to catch some more views and make it a little harder. 100% recommended to anyone looking for a good day hike in the area!
