Great place to snowshoe. Not a big elevation gain and epically beautiful.

We went up on a Friday Night and there were no more campsites to sleep at. We were able to find a flat spot just large enough to put our pads on. I would suggest going up on a weeknight. With that said, the views are amazing, the hike enjoyable (if you are ok with some steep elevation climbs) and the water felt amazing. It's a really neat basin overlooking the valley below and well worth the effort.

This place is absolutely magical. We backpacked in and stayed at the Meadows and from the moment we arrived, it was a transcendent experience. The hike isn't too hard but does gain a lot of elevation. With that said, there was not a dull moment on the hike. The two lakes up there are crystal clear with small trout in each of them. The weather was a little bit volatile with sporadic rain and wind but overall, the area is amazing.
