Description

Added by Alexander Stickel

This easy day hike welcomes everyone! From meadows to lakes, this trail is sure to impress.

The trail head starts at the Raven Lodge parking lot on Nordic Drive. Once at the trail head, follow the trail and turn right on the Hellen Mackenzie/ Battleship Lake trail loop. This boardwalk/ dirt trail will take you around beautiful meadows filled with blueberries (in the fall season), streams, alpine forrest and through an expansive glacial lake system.

Strathacona Provincial Park does an incredible job at plant and wildlife education! If you look down on your left and right while on the boardwalk, you'll find many signs educating you on the many different types of plants in the area. Every so often you'll find bathrooms and picnic areas, as well as Camping spots once you reach the lake.

Enjoy the views and the mountain air!

Remember... Strathacona Provincial Park is huge and this is just one stop in the park to explore. I encourage you to get out and see more of what the park has to offer!
