Fraser Valley E, British Columbia

Description

Added by Ian Tyley

Amazing Views when its not foggySeen lots of wildlife (bear, eagles, chipmunks)Not too much of a hard walkTrail is well markedA must do hike!

It took us about 3hrs from Vancouver to reach the top of the car park where the trailhead begins. The access to the trailhead is along a Forest Service Road which requires a rugged 4-wheel drive vehicle to gain access. From the parking area, climb over the logs and walk along the gravel road passing the wildflowers. With great views of the surrounding mountains. The hike roughly took 4 hrs up and back. It is a gain of 700m.At the top there is the most amazing views. Unfortunately on this day the mountain and surrounding mountains were covered with fog. It still was an epic hike even with the fog. Made for some nice photos.
