Description

Rent pedal boats, row boats, and motor boats or take advantage of great fishing spots. There are also plenty of picnic areas and a large playground.

It costs $5 to enter the park and they are open 6am to sunset everyday. There is plenty of parking and this park is huge! This place has so many outdoor recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, running, archery, feeding ducks, or just having a picnic.

With so many possibilities in this one area, why not do them all in one day? My typical day here involves a picnic overlooking the lake, renting a boat, and fishing! You could even throw in a hike if you wanted to! There is just so much opportunity here at this lake.

The lake has a concession where you can stock up on fishing gear, supplies for various activities, or some food and drinks! This is your one stop shop for anything you might need. This is also where you'll go if you want to rent a boat or need to purchase a fishing permit.

Lake Poway Reviews

Lake Poway has a few unique rules you should be aware of when visiting. Check their website for day-specific rules and early closing hours to ensure you know what to expect. The area provides plenty of space for picnics with a beautiful walking trail around the lake. It's an urban park so know you will be sharing the area with many families, fishermen, and others trying to escape the city and spend some time outdoors.
