Just moved to Mountain Home and this was my first trip around the area. It snowed the night before and we were happy to be in a car with 4WD. Snow was deep and slushy in some parts of the road up to this checkpoint. Absolutely gorgeous views once you start climbing elevation. This spot had a stunning view of the river and cliffs. We decided to keep driving the road instead of turning around and driving back the way we came. Took a couple hours, but we found that the road looped around and spit us back out on the 20. Saw a few waterfalls along our way and ended up driving over the Anderson Dam. If you are looking for a fun drive, I would highly recommend this route!
