Awesome, fast, mostly technical ride, without a ton of pedaling if you take a shuttle service. The views are spectacular. I saw people riding everything from a full rigid, to fat bike, to 6+ inch travel full suspension. If you take the shuttle I would recommend at least a full suspension xc bike but I believe the ideal bike is an all mountain/enduro. I rode a Santa Cruz Nomad 6.75" travel bike and could not wipe the grin off my face from top of the trail to the bottom where it dumps out on the road. That bike just ate up everything the trail could toss at me with ease. The ride back to town isn't record breaking but worth the fun on the trail. This was the fastest most flowing ride I did in Moab.

Smaller campground with walk in spots that are separated enough to have some privacy due to the bushes, trees and vegetation around the site. Soft loose dirt at the sites are comfortable to sleep on but is very dusty. Nice metal picnic tables at all sites with fire pit rings. The bathroom is just an out house style plastic seat over a hole so no running water. There is no trash collection or water so pack in and pack out everything. It is on the Colorado River and surrounded by canyon walls which makes for good shade during the mornings and evenings. More like car camping off the beaten path but you still have to carry everything 20-100 yards depending on which site. I believe there were a dozen sites.
