I live in the city and spend my weekends in the mountains. I am a Kinesiology student and I'm keen to get outdoors whenever possible.

I love the views at Garibaldi Lake, but I don't like the crowds of people who visit. It's not quite the right spot if you're looking for peace and quiet between Fri and Mon.

One of my favourite areas to explore.

With the new bridge in place, we have easier access to the upper falls. You can hike in through the east canyon trail, cross the bridge, and hike out via west canyon to make it a loop.

This is a good leg stretcher if you're in for a long drive along the Sea-to-Sky!

The Helm Creek side is a little more quiet than Taylor Meadows and Garibaldi Lake, a huge bonus. Great views all along the trail. If you're able to hike it with someone, you can complete this as a through-hike. Have a car parked at the Helm Creek side and shuttle over to Rubble Creek to start. Hike in via Taylor Meadows and hike out via Helm Creek, with a Cinder Cone detour along the way.

This is one of my favourite spots to visit when I'm short on time and can't afford a full day out. Also a great after work camping spot.

Great hike and amazing views. The logging roads at the start are a bit of a slog, but well worth the views. I've heard on a clear/non-hazy day, you can see as far as the Queen Charlotte islands.

This is a high traffic area, but well worth it if you can make a trip out in the mid-week. NOTICE: From RECREATION SITES AND TRAILS BC https://www.facebook.com/BCRecSitesandTrails/?fref=nf PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE-The Pebble Creek Hotsprings Trail, also known as the Keyhole Falls Hotsprings Trail, located at 42 km on the Upper Lillooet Forest Service Road, has been CLOSED indefinitely due to the presence of numerous food conditioned black bears and grizzly bears in the area. Remember a fed bear is a dead bear, campers must secure their food and garbage so that wildlife cannot access it. PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE: Pebble Creek/Keyhole Falls Hotsprings remains closed due to the presence of numerous food conditioned and aggressive bears. There has been a confirmed report that a sow black bear with four cubs has charged 2 people. This is a very dangerous situation and the bears in the area are acting aggressively. There is a high probability that continued use of the area will result in an attack. The public must respect this closure or we may be forced to destroy this bear.

Sloquet is a little more "family friendly" so not sure if birthday suit is a good call. Skookumchuk Hot springs which is on the way via in-SHUK-ch road is more birthday suit friendly :).

Some of my favourite views of the Black Tusk!

Great workout up a steep hike with gorgeous views at the end. Wedgemount Lake makes a great basecamp for mountaineering objectives too.
