Where else can you sit on the ledge facing the grandest of all natural world wonders and legally drink a beer while taking photos?

I've read that only approximately 10% of Grand Canyon National Park visitors spend time at the North Rim, meaning the crowds are smaller in the most beautiful areas you can immerse yourself in without having to backpack to the bottom.

This isn't so much of an adventure as it is the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking.  You can either hang out in the lodge that has massive floor-to-ceiling windows, sit in a chair or at a table along the rim, or stand in one of the walkways that take you out over the canyon...all while sipping on a beer or eating a meal.

The National Park Service describes it as follows:  "30 minutes approximate roundtrip hiking time.  A short walk on a paved trail to a spectacular view of the canyon.  The trail begins at the log shelter in the parking area by the visitor center or at the corner of the back porch by the lodge.  Self-guiding nature trail pamphlets are available from a box along the trail."

Bright Angel Point Trail also doubles as a beautiful place to watch the sunrise, which makes it an ideal location for coffee drinkers as well.
