Beautiful hike with stunning red rock and cliff jumping.

This is a very enjoyable hike through the beautiful red rock of Northern Arizona. Located right outside Sedona, AZ, in the Coconino National Forest. The actual name of the trail is Bell Trail, but if you intend to do some cliff jumping there is no need to do the last half mile. The trail I had marked at 7.2 miles with about 688 ft of elevation gain. Good one for beginners, just make sure you have plenty of drinking water and a day pack.

The trail is fairly flat for the first half of the hike, then gradually transitions with a steady gain along some beautiful red rocks. Also features a river along with nice trees right near the shore, which adds a nice back drop for the red cliffs. Once you get to the swimming hole you will know. There are multiple cliffs that offer a height for any daredevil to jump off. Even a flat one that screams for anyone to do a giant cannon ball dive.

What greater way to relax after working up a sweat in the Arizona heat then jumping into some chilly water. Also has a couple areas to throw a hammock up if your interested in spending the day, but apparently no camping on this trail.
