Brooks Lake is an awesome family friendly camping area with excellent fishing and breath taking views. My trip to Brooks Lake was one of a kind, catching 20+ Rainbow Trout and relaxing under 9000 feet tall pinnacles.
Starting on Highway 26 in Wyoming we took the exit saying "Brooks Lake" and started the roughly 3 mile dirt road drive into Wyoming's back country. We then fished Brooks Lake and caught 20+ rainbow trout then hiked the beautiful surrounding area. Camping was one of a kind also, the mornings on Brooks Lake are breath taking as well and I recommend kayaking on the lake itself.
