A great neighborhood walk to enjoy any season.

This is a great neighborhood park. I've been going here since I was a kid to walk around, ride my bike, play in the creek. Now I go here for walks when I need to just get outside and away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. There's always a squirrel to watch, or a bird to listen to. The sound of the creek is always relaxing. There's a few great spots to sit and relax in.

There's one main trail that runs lengthwise, but there are many side trails, some marked, some not, that lead to small ravines, old railroad remains, rope swings, and even an old treehouse! There are enough trails to make a 2-3 mile loop without ever backtracking, and probably around 5-6 miles total if you wanted to walk all of them, and it's a great place to train for a run.

Today I went for a two mile loop hike and went to check on the old treehouse. The moss in the creek seemed especially green today. Perhaps it was the stark contrast with the cool water and leafless trees.
