The trail loops back around to Shenandoah's Skyline drive. It is best to start from the White Oak Trail's parking lot then come back down. It took us about half the day to finish half the trail including breaks.

It is quite steep going up, so a walking stick would be helpful. In addition, be careful and watch where you are going - there are rocky parts of the trail and we found 2 snakes and almost stepped on them. All the falls and swimming holes are definitely worth it!
