Take in stunning views and explore amazing natural land formations on this beautiful, easy hike.

Hoodoos? What's that you say?

Hoodoos are these amazing rock formations that Bryce Canyon is famous for. This hike is hands down the best way to see the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon. This hike allows for stunning lookout points from the rim and the experience of hiking through the hoodoos of the canyon.

We did the hike in fall just before a some snowfall, which in my opinion made the hike even more memorable.

Look for the Navajo Loop and Queen's Garden Trail. You can begin this hike at either end. You can start from Sunset Point by the famous Wall Street, or, like us, start at Queen's Garden Trail by Sunrise Point, which descends down some switchbacks connecting to the Navajo Loop.

There is parking near Sunrise Point. Head toward Sunrise Point, and just before you will see Queen's Garden Trail. Follow down this trail which will surround you by hoodoos and take you under little tunnels which open up into spectacular views.

This trail eventually leads to the Navajo Trail, which takes you up to Sunset Point. The end of the hike ends with the majestic Wall Street. Wall Street contains a series of slow winding switchbacks that takes you to a more narrow path in which you are enclosed by a bright red rock wall on each side. We were the only ones hiking Wall Street. It was amazing.

If you have seen the music video Alive by Empire of the Sun, this is where it was filmed. (:

*Side note: During heavy rain or snow the park tries to close off the wall, but even so the hike is very safe.

Wall Street Loop in Bryce Canyon Reviews

Bryce is one of the most underrated parks! It’s amazing to be able to walk down into the hoodoos and see nature’s creation. We did the Navajo trail and the peekaboo trail (combined it’s about 5 miles)

Erosion-etched sandstone pinnacles, towering old pine trees, arches and gullies and above all, the bright orange hue of the stone. What a landscape. If you hike into the amphitheatre anywhere, make sure you hike through Wall Street—best experienced on your way back up.

This is a great hike with beautiful views, but dogs are actually only allowed above the rim.
