Morning in Waterfall Canyon (Summer 2015)

Ogden, Utah

Description

Added by Dana Tran

The gorgeous 200-ft waterfall at the end of hiking through mountain forest scenery!

-You'll get to the trail by Mt. Ogden Trailhead (29th street). Continue to walk up, and you'll find directions to Waterfall Canyon trail.

-The beginning of the trail is soil path. The trail will become very open with no shade. But then the trail will become mountainous, rocky terrain: the path becomes filled with rocks and has lots of tree cover.

-The trail is all incline!

-Incredibly scenic. There are lots of wildflowers towards the beginning of the trail, while there is a continuous stream alongside the trail as you get closer to the waterfall.

  • 1 small snake was spotted

-Do not climb on the rocks near the waterfall- many people have died from climbing on loose rocks.
