Off road shortcut back to town that provides beautiful views.

Long canyon road is a scenic way back to town after visiting Canyonlands National Park's Island in the Sky or Dead Horse Point State Park. It is a dirt road that requires a high clearance vehicle. The road starts right by dead horse point and ends at jug handle arch. One of the unique features of this trail is the giant rock that fell over the trail that you drive under. This trial can be done by mountain bike. There are also plenty of points where you can get out, chill, and take a look around. Highly recommended if you are just wandering around and want to go a different way home. Basically anything Subaru Outback or higher can handle this trail with no issues.
