Experience one of the most amazing places on this planet - Sandstone formations that are pure ART - known as "The Wave".

Starting from Lake Powell, Highway 89 brings you westbound to the Paria Wilderness Area. Grab your permit from the Ranger and the adventure can begin. Only with a detailed description, you will find the way. The hike is not for total beginners as "navigational skills" through unmarked terrain are essential - Your reward is to experience this surreal and breathtaking spot in the middle of the Utah/Arizona desert. Starting early pays off, as you don't want to suffer too much in the heat around noon. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular as the sandstone presents itself in a million colors.
