This particular mountain range is great for many outdoor activities. This one in particular for trail running. What makes this place unique is that you can make the trail running as hard or as easy as you need.

During the summer months there is a quality dirt road that you can drive almost anything up to the top of the range to about 11,500'. From there, there are 3 12,000' peaks that you can run or hike to and many trails in-between. The views alone make this place worth a trip to.

There are also many photography opportunities here as well. There is almost always a herd of mountain goats that you can photograph and the scenery is always beautiful! It can be windy up there and if you haven't been training at altitude you could get a little sick. I've lived in Utah most of my life and only recently found out about this place and I highly recommend it!
