An amazing and wild place to spend some days in.
During our 6 months road trip all around Europe, we wanted to meet as most people as we could. Here we spent three days in this amazing and scenic bay surrounded by mountains at Flora and Tom's cottage (http://www.isleofmullcottages.... or http://www.isleofmullcottages....).
In exchange we helped them in the farm and wathever we could do.
Since the frst moment we arrived I saw a waterfall at a small summit not so far from the house. I said to myself that during our stay I should hike at the top of it. After a strong rain, the waterfall was strong than ever so I decided to go.
The hike wasn't that hard but because of the rain, everything was wet (even me...) and really sleepery. Also, it's a really wild place so there no path. You have to create it yourself by following the river and some waterfalls.
It took me 1h30 to do the out and back but the feeling upthere, all by myself, lost in the wild with this incredible view was insanely good!
At the bottom you have one of the cottage, the beach, a mosoleum, and Lochbuie's old post office.
An awesome and wild place to stay. Enjoy!
