3. Hiking Red Rocks Ice Box Canyon
If you like a little climbing and scrambling mixed in with your hiking, you'll be stoked on this hike through Red Rocks Canyon. Located under an hour outside Las Vegas, this is a great place to escape from sin city if the casino isn't your scene. Learn more.
4. Dragon's Tail Couloir Climb
This 1,500 foot climb is a good one to bust out for dawn patrol before work. The gradual inclince get steep at the top but will lead you to an incredible view and a great start to your day. Learn more.
5. Hiking McDowell Creek
Hike through this lush, green forest along McDowell Creek and its many waterfalls. If you're lucky, there will be entertainment provided by daring wakeboarders winching over some of the falls. Learn more.
