Amazing view of the Golden Gate BridgeSecluded beachEasy parking

Marshall's Beach is tucked away at the end of a long set of stairs just off of the Batteries to Bluff trail in the Presidio of San Francisco. It offers a fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge and a great place to hangout with a good book. There are also other trails around the area including the California Coastal Trail which will take you to the Presidio Promenade and Bay Trail, offering a rewarding view along the way. It's good to note that San Francisco can be a bit chilly on summer evenings, so it would be wise to pack a light jacket if you're planning on staying long enough to catch the sunset.
