Gorgeous campground with ocean views. Tons of sightseeing and hiking.

There is so much to explore in the San Simeon area. I know that I haven't even come close to seeing all the area has to offer. Some days I spent just relaxing and finding hikes connected to the campsite and others I spent sightseeing at Hearst Castle or taking a drive to the Henry Miller Library. Be sure to make time to catch the sunset because it is sure to be beautiful. There is no need for extensive planning because there are a ton of places to stop along highway 1 to see and explore. As a heads up though, there is a ton of poison oak in the area. One thing I'd like to make time to see next is some of the local hot springs.
