Description

Added by Mitchell Phun

One of the most scenic drives in Oregon, a spectacular view of the Columbia River Gorge and the surrounding city. Rowena Crest is famous for the bend in the road that you take to travel to the top of the lookout point.

An easy find, there is a parking lot at the top of the Mayer State Park you park for free and are able to roam the area, there is a short hike 0.8 miles round trip around the park where you are able to see the views of the gorge and to admire the wildflowers that bloom in the spring. The bend in the road is easily accessible and easy to spot from the edge of the parking area. A beautiful and easy day hike.
