The Clackamas 715, is one of my favorite go-to day hikes of all time. Especially when I was living in Oregon.

There is never a lot of traffic here, and you can do the hike in several different ways. You can go with someone, and drive separately. This was you can park one car at Indian Henry and the other at Fish Creek completely the straight through hike from one to the other. You can also go park at one, or the other and hike in to Pup Creek Falls, a breath-taking 3 tier, 100ft waterfall almost completely center of the 7.5 mile trail. If you do this, make sure you make the further drive to Indian Henry and you can catch the half cave. Then again, you could go all the way and back for 15 miles, if you wanted more difficulty. All of this is located directly off of Highway 224. It's about 20 - 25 minutes, outside of Estacada, OR.

You'll pass through tons of green, earthy, majestic big trees and forest floor, out to the roaring Clackamas River, up through gorgeous rocky cliffs looking down on the winding river below.

There is no cell service, or restrooms. You will see the occasional hikers, kayakers, and rafters. Ranger Station and campgrounds near by.
