Backpacking a great trail in Oregon off of the Columbia river gorge with some incredible views.

Starting off at the Eagle Creek trailhead which is easy to find and has easily accessible parking(you might need an overnight permit you can purchase there) you hike a few miles on some awesome trails to get to Punchbowl falls. The bottom of punchbowl has some great photo opportunities, and a few swimming holes and cliff jumping spots. Past Punchbowl you will continue to come in contact with some pretty awesome waterfalls, and once you pass the high bridge about 4 miles in there are some awesome camping sites off the trail. You continue down the trail into Mt. Hood national forest where you walk behind Tunnel falls, which also has some incredible photo opportunities. Past the falls there are a few different routes you can explore, we chose to go up to Wahtum lake which was well worth the 13 miles of hiking from the eagle creek trailhead. We spent the next day exploring all there was by our campsite just a few miles before tunnel falls. This is one of my favorite trails to backpack, be smart and have fun!
