This is one of my favorite hikes, and as soon as you first start into the trail; you'll understand why.Amazing views of Mackenzie RiverThe plant life is abundant and thrivingThe famous Blue Pool is worth every step of the hikeIf you're feeling froggy, you can leap into the water, but it is freezing!

To first set on your way to Blue Pool, you will want to take highway 126 east 13 miles to Trail-Bridge Reservoir. My group and I did camp out at the Trail-Bridge campsite a couple days, so it made it easier to beat the crowds earlier in the morning. You will want to do the same! There's a small dirt road you take right after crossing the bridge that will lead you to the trail head, and can set you on your way. It's about a 2 mile hike, and it's pretty simple to get there as it is well maintained and often traveled by travelers.

When you're on the trail, you'll want to watch out for mountain bikers as this trail is one of the premier trails to ride. Along the trail, you'll see the Mackenzie river in all its glory, and it might take you longer than you thought because you'll want to stop every 5 minutes to snap pictures. This trail is simply amazing, and it pretty much looks like something out of JurassicPark! I hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Safe Travels!
