The Profile Trail at Grandfather Mountain State Park is an adventure that not only challenges you in a number of ways, but is so exhilarating and an accomplishment to complete that you feel a sense of being one with the mountain.

The Profile Trail at Grandfather Mountain State Park can be comparable as the "Grand Canyon of the East". The trail is a rough 3.10 mile hike straight up taking an ascent of 1,775 feet. Each mile takes an avid hiker about an hour to complete. Here's our adventure on it.
