Large forested area with numerous waterfalls, lakes and trails. Great views of the surrounding mountains.

During my visits to the Dupont State forest I hiked the High Falls, Triple Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Wintergreen Falls and Hooker Falls trails. Also hiked to lake Imaging, Lake Julia and Fawn Lake. The hike to the top of Cedar Rock is well worth the climb with great views of the mountains. Photographed wildflowers during the spring and summer, fall colors in the autumn and ice and snow on the falls during the winter. All the trails are well maintained and none are very difficult to hike. I also visited a couple of old historic cemeteries located within the forest boundaries.
