This is a 16 km hike from Torrent Bay to Marahau with magnificent views!
The starting point of this hike is the Torrent Bay beach. It takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete this.
The map here gives you a clear idea of this journey.
It is well graded with spectacular views across Tasman Bay. You will come across a couple of kool little waterfalls in this hike. This hike has both hilly and flat terrains. It's relatively easy and pretty decent hike. Keep your camera handy :). You can stop for lunch at a protected golden beach with views of Adele and Fisherman's Islands. Takes about 2.5 hours to this point.
After the break, you can continue the hike to Marahau, to the end of the coastal track. From Marahau, you can take your preferred transportation to get back to Kaiteriteri and forward. The 3 days with selective hikes for each day were incredible! Walking the Abel Tasman coastal track is magnificent. Plan and do this great walk! It's one of the easiest and clear hikes with good directions.
