Whether you want to sit on the beach and enjoy the crystal clear water, take a hike, go fishing, go camping or take your dog on an adventure, Round Valley is a great place to do it all.

Round Valley has a lot to offer anyone looking to get outside in any season. There are many different hiking trails, some loops, some out and back, some short and some long. (See website for trail maps... http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/round.html) One out and back beginning from the boat ramp, and skirting the rocky beaches the whole time is a great short (about 2.5 miles) hike. You can also camp here, and hike from the parking lot around the reservoir to the camp sites, or get to camp via boat. In the summer you can swim and kayak, in the fall the leaves are beautiful and in the winter you can watch the ice fishermen out on the frozen reservoir.
