Description

Added by Allie Rippe

This is a stunning and easily accessible hike. It is only a short hike to the hidden lake overlook from Logan Pass.

Starting from the Logan Pass Visitor Center, you climb a small stairway through fields of wildflowers called "the hanging gardens". The trail mainly follows a boardwalk which comes to an end at the overlook. If you wish to hike down to the lake, it is a bit more demanding. It is about 1 more mile down and you will descend almost 800 feet. You can commonly see mountain goats on this hike as well as other animals like marmots and grizzly bears (bring your bear spray).
