Minnesota has some amazing night skies. From clear views of the Milky Way to the Northern Lights, you will leave amazed.

Park in the rest stop parking lot. Follow the trail from the back of the lot towards the lake. The trail splits twice. Take a right at the first split or else you will be headed towards Shovel Point. At the next trail split, take a right and down the set of stairs to the beach. From here, you will be able to see the Palisade Head lighthouse. Enjoy the sounds of the lake and the beautiful stars! If you're lucky, the Northern Lights may show.

P.S. Keep an eye out for raspberries and blueberries!
