I love Forest Park because you can escape from the city easily and quickly. This is a beautiful running spot!

The waterfront area will allow you hours of running locations and endless entertainment along the way. The city and river provide a very scenic route.

Mt. Sanitas is always a good choice if you are looking for a nice hike on an afternoon or morning in Boulder. It can get crowded, so get an early start if you can!

This is one of my favorite hikes around Boulder, and it never gets old. Doable in the summer and winter (be careful of ice in the winter) and is a great day trip.

This peaceful spot has amazing views of Boulder. A great place to relax and enjoy an afternoon.

An uncrowded alpine lake with a really fun hike. It can also be a day hike if you want something shorter.

This hike is perfect if you only have an afternoon or morning. It is not too long, but the view of the falls at the end is breathtaking!

This is one of the best places to view downtown Seattle in my opinion. If you go at night it can be quiet and beautiful with the city lights.

This hike is not too difficult and the view of the Columbia River Gorge is amazing. I saw very few people on the quaint trail!

Great suggestion for this photography spot...I went and took beautiful photos! The river reflects the city really well.

This area is incredibly beautiful and often not too crowded. I will go here many weekends in a row and never get tired of it!

This peak is a must-do for Coloradans. The ascent is enjoyable and the summit is a fun and beautiful place to relax and eat lunch!

The ascent is doable in a few hours, but the top is amazing. The wind shelter came in handy for the chilly wind.

This was really fun to hike because there were not many people on the trail and the views are beautiful!
