Stunning 360 degree views of Los Angeles and Griffith Park. Wisdom Tree offers piles of notebooks to read and write in.

3 miles out and back with an 872 ft elevation gain. Start by parking on Lake Hollywood Drive and walk up Wonder View Drive to a gravel fire road. Note: You can't park on Wonder View Drive. There's a house just before the fire road that has water set out for dogs and a notebook where hikers can write information on weather, snake spottings, or other trail conditions, so be sure to check it out before heading in. Head to the end of the fire road and you'll see the trail head for Wisdom Tree off to your right. A commemorative plaque marks the start of the trail. This is a steeper hike and this trail doesn't waste any time getting you to the top so get those buns of steal ready! Have good shoes on as the trail is a little rocky in some places and has sheer drop offs in others. There's also no tree cover, so bring plenty of sun screen and water for those sunnier days. When you get to the top, you can head left toward the Wisdom Tree and take in the sights while reading and writing in the piles of notebooks left in an ammo box at the base of the tree, or you can hang a right and keep trucking along Cahuenga Peak
