In the heartland of America just off I-70, this beautiful KOA is the ideal spot to spend a night, a week or your entire vacation. Head 15 miles west to see the Kansas City Royals or Chiefs play. Nearby, wonderful family attractions include the Kaleidoscope at Crown Center, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, SEA LIFE Aquarium, Kansas City Zoo and Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun. History buffs will appreciate the Harry S. Truman Library & Museum, Fort Osage and Missouri Town 1855. Back at the campground, enjoy the saltwater pool, Jump Pad, mini golf, volleyball, basketball, playground and large indoor pavilion. You can even pan for gems, fossils and arrowheads at the Horseshoe Creek Mining Sluice. Browse the general store and have a scoop of hand-dipped ice cream or a float.
