Featured in Bend Magazine, this Craftsman-style bungalow was originally built in 1919 and inhabited by the Claypool family for nearly a century. In May 2018, native Oregonian Justin Brevoort assembled a talented team of designers to beautifully transform the home.

“The first thing that grabbed me was how unique its architecture was for Bend. It combined Craftsman with elements of Southern California style, plus I liked its location in the Drake Park Neighborhood District,” Brevoort says in the article “A Touch of Modern: Bend’s Historic Claypool Home Gets a Major Makeover.”

Blending modern concepts with the home’s century-old roots, this rental is truly a work of art. Located just 2 blocks from Drake Park, this retreat offers quick access to gorgeous riverside scenery and easy walkability to exquisite cuisine and recreational fun.


Furnished with a chic sofa and armchair, the main living area features a vintage record player and a selection of vinyl records. This sunlit space flaunts a Japanese-inspired staircase and original fireplace.

A lower living area includes a 65” smart TV and two sleeper sofas, while an upstairs flex space doubles as a sitting alcove and is furnished with an additional sleeper sofa.


The sleek kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, a large basin sink, and a full suite of appliances. Handy extras include an espresso machine.

The stylish dining table is set for eight.


This two-story home sleeps up to eight guests between the three bedrooms and three sleeper sofas. Four full bathrooms display black and white hexagonal tiles, quartz countertops, and subway tile in the showers.

Find ultimate comfort in the master suite, complete with a king bed, 50” smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, and record player. The en-suite bathroom features a vintage credenza that was converted into a double vanity as well as a walk-in shower.

Two more bedrooms each have a queen bed. One of these includes a 42” TV.

The second bathroom is outfitted with a walk-in shower, while the third and fourth bathrooms each have a tub/shower combination.


An original, curved Roman-brick wall encases a side veranda -- perfect for sipping morning coffee.

In the evening, enjoy the warm ambience of a gas firepit on the back patio, strung with twinkling lights.


Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and parking for three cars (one in the driveway and two in the garage) are provided.

Simple things like leaving the property tidy, running the dishwasher, starting to wash the towels, and taking out the trash are expected of our guests.If excessive wear and tear is found on property, or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills, trash left on site, unclean dishes, stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees. If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, Owner has the right to evict Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. If any sign of smoking is discovered Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. Unless the rental policy specifically allows, if any sign of any pet is discovered Guest authorizes Owner to charge the guest an additional minimum $500 cleaning fee.Properties are fully furnished properties that will include bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, furnishings unless otherwise specified.Travel Insurance is highly recommended for any stay.Please note that you may be required to execute additional agreements in order to comply with TurnKey's Terms of Service, HomeOwner's association rules or local laws or regulations.
